Bacardi Expands Portfolio With New Ready To Drink Martini Range

Bacardi is expanding its Martini portfolio with the introduction of three new ready-to-drink (RTD) offerings!

The new canned RTD’s comprise: Martini Fiero and Tonic, Martini Non-Alcoholic Vibrante and Tonic, and Martini Non-Alcoholic Floreale and Tonic.

According to Nielson, the overall ready-to-drink category grew 80% from April 2019 to April 2020 and is projected to see more growth due to the coronavirus pandemic as consumers are unable to visit bars and restaurants and see RTD products as easy at-home solutions to unwind and relax.

These new drinks from the Aperitivo brand are the result of expert crafters Ivano Tonutti and Beppe Musso working together to bring MARTINI’S 150 years of expertise to the RTD category.

Launching across Europe from early April, the cans are being released following a recent increase in outdoor socialising and demand for ready to drink products.

Victoria Morris, vice president of Martini, said: “With the increased demand for on-the-go drinks, I am delighted to announce that we have expanded our offering for Martini Fiero and Martini Non-Alcoholic Aperitivo with the new RTD formats.”

“We know outdoor socialising will be key this spring and these three new RTDs are an easy way to enjoy a delicious drink without foregoing quality for the sake of convenience. We are really excited for people to try them as they start to enjoy time spent with friends once again.”

According to Bacardi, the UK’s RTD category is the fastest growing within the alcohol market. Earlier this year, they released a Bombay Sapphire G&T can into online grocer, Ocado.
